Platte County Democrats at the K

After a brief scramble over a lost ticket, 22 loyal Platte County Democrats (and a few from Clay County ) gathered on July 17, 2009 at Kauffman Stadium to watch the Kansas City Royals vs. Tama Bay Rays and witness the opening of the Royals Hall of Fame and a spectacular closing fireworks display. The weather was perfect, the seats excellent, and the company awesome! The Hall of Fame is exciting and the stadium update, fantastic! Even the game was great through the 7th inning. Nothing is ever perfect. GO ROYALS!
